It fits 3 different models and they send you 3 different brackets but directions don't come with it. Missing a lock washer. Found a YouTube video of a young lady installing one,great video that told what brackets to use. I have used YouTube a lot she had one of the best videos I have seen, other then that look and work great momma approved..

Westin has been around a while and I always felt that their stuff was a bit high priced. But that was 15 years ago or so. The price for these can't be beat, unless you go for a no name brand. I like that these are one piece, but I wish they made a wheel to wheel set for easier access to my toolbox. I previously had Go Rhino two piece wheel to wheel bars and they broke from rotting out where the two pieces go together. I didn't really figure that out since the first set had been damaged from off roading, so I bought a second set from Go Rhino and they lasted less than the old ones. I figured out that where the two pieces come together, water was getting past the seal (hard plastic) and the rotted from the inside out. These Westins won't have that problem. The install is very easy. The only snag I had was the rear strap on the drivers side didn't fit properly due to a bracket for the parking brake that is on the frame. I had to cut off about 1/8th of an inch to allow it to fit. No big deal since I have a lot of various tools to get things done. After fitting this strap, I realized only the top corner needs to be trimmed, but in any case this has no bearing on the strength of the unit. Overall I'm very happy, though the instructions could be a little more detailed then they were,m but if you have any mechanical ability and an engineering type mind, this is a no sweat install. Hardest part was getting the old brackets off from my other tubes. Hopefully I won't be buying any more step tubes for either of my trucks.

I installed these onto my 2006 Dodge Ram 3500. They look great. No shipping damage like I had read in some other reviews. I would recommend watching a video on youtube about the install, it made it so much easier. The install is not hard by any means, just figuring out how everything goes on the first side, then the other side is cake.

This is an outstanding product; built with quality, fit was perfect and looks great. My wife who is short and had trouble climbing into the cab of our Dodge 3500 QuadCab urged me to purchase these step rails and I'm glad she did. The step pads are installed on the bars exactly where they need to be. I installed the step bars with no problems by myself. Not too shabby for an over-weight 70 year-old. The dealer from whom we purchased them shipped them out almost over-night and they arrived within two days. I am well satisfied with the service, the product, the appearance, the price, and the functionality of this product.

The package arrived much sooner than was originally estimated. All of the bolts, washers, and nuts of various sizes were packaged in the same bag, which made it difficult to match them up easily to the installation instructions. The instructions could have been better and the few pictures could have been in color and of better quality. Eventually, I figured out where everything was supposed to go and installed both bars in approximately 1.5 hours. Much of that time was spent trying to figure out the installation instructions and parts. Be sure to remove the black end caps before installation. This instruction is printed on the cap, not in the installation guide. The instructions indicated to use the included body bolts, which are supposed to be longer. However, my original body bolts were the same size. After finally getting the bars installed, I'm quite happy with their function and great looks.

I owned these Westin Step Rail before on a Chevy and they held up well. They took about 45 minutes to install. I don't have an air wrench so the toughest part was getting the 4 frame bolts out. My 18" breaker bar did the trick.Parts are included for 2005 and 2006 Dodge but they are marked clearly. All you need is a 3/4" socket and an 5/8" socket and 5/8" wrench.One disapointment was the shipping. It arrived 4 days after I ordered it and both ends of the box were open. Everything was there but one of the rail ends was damaged. Instead of sending them back and going through all that I managed to fix the problem and it does not show or compromise the strength.
