i see a lot of people complain about the jacket, ive had this for 5 years and i have not had any issues, has not lost color, it looks black and ive used it for work, nights out and even when ive been cutting firewood with it and its comfortable, durable and cant stress this enough, ITS COMFORTABLE! mine is still top notch but im going to order another one just to keep it for when this one rips or something but at this pase i feel it will outlive me

Delivered one day early. Fit was spot on for the most part, sleeves are a little long but not bad. Seems like nice durable material. Good looking jacket overall. I like the adjustable snaps at the wrists because I prefer a tighter fit at the wrists.

The jacket seems to be well made. It's heavy cotton with nice snaps and zippers. The chest pockets are big enough to close over my cell phone, which is always unknowable until you have it. The size is right, which you can't always count on. I'm pleased with it.

I got this to wear in the shop on colder days. After a few years of frankly not being taken good care of it's still holding up great. All the buttons are still firm and the zipper still works well.It's not really insulated, so it wouldn't be suitable for extremely cold days by itself, but it looks great and is thinner so it's easy to layer larger coats over it when needed.The color has also lasted fairly well, it was black when I got it and it's still black now. Overall a very good coat.

This canvas jacket has enough weight to it to be worn in Fall but is also breathable enough to wear in Spring, even in summer.It looks effortlessly stylish. Doesn’t hug the body too close but also isn’t just hanging there. That’s the fit you would want with this kind of jacket.It’s highly functional with all the pockets. There’s a lot of storage to be used if you’re the kind of person who carries a lot of EDC items.It’s also highly durable. Material itself is strong and the stitching also seems solid so I know I’ll be wearing it for a very long time.All of the features combined make it an ideal casual wear jacket. Both stylish and functional.

I picked this up wanted a field style canvas jacket. I loved this as soon as it came. Only ny chance this right around the same time I was looking into Waxed canvas. I found a kit on sale, from Otter Wax and waxed it myself. It took to it very well and now it looks even better and is ready for some colder nights and water weather.

Perfect jacket for autumn/spring. It's a nice material, comfortable and lightweight. Definitely not for colder weather, unless you wear a hoodie underneath, but perfect for the "in-between" temperatures that come with autumn and spring. It also doubles as a MacGyver style jacket if you're a fan of the show. It was used for a MacGyver cosplay as well as casual wear and looked great. So whether you're looking for a nice, casual jacket with great fit, or a Mac cosplay, this is perfect.

This is my third WenVen jacket I have owned, I still have all three! This one was better quality and had a better fit than the last two! The fabric they use is almost like a thicker cotton canvas with a soft silky lining, the look of the jacket is second to none. Definitely gives a almost western kinda looks to it. The pockets and buttons on all three of my jackets I have had zero issues with as well. They’re strong and make a audible snap to them when you use the buttons. The zipper pocket on the chest is a heavy and high quality zipper. I often use a flannel shirt under neath and it works almost a perfect liner for the jacket. I will continue to buy WenVen jackets, they are worth the money!

I was in the fashion biz for years, so I may be more judgmental than most about this jacket. While I was traveling, I found myself in need of a lightweight jacket and this could be delivered the next day, so I picked it up.The shoulders and arms run a little long for a Large by industry standard, and the form is very boxy. The cotton outer shell is decent for its pricepoint, but the polyester lining is thin and not great quality (even my polyester standards). The latter part is important because the inside pockets are part of the lining and I would not trust them not to wear and rip pretty early in ownership.The collar is a little deep and wide, causing it to lay funny when the second snap is locked. while this gets better with multiple washes so the fabric loosens, it never looks quite right. The drop-form from shoulder to waist with no hint of taper will also make you appear hefty, regardless of your build.The reality is that this is a mediocre-looking jacket that fits a little poorly but is a great price. So if you just need something to work in the yard or go camping, this is a great option. If you want to wear it on a date or in a professional capacity, I wouldn't.
