I wanted to second what someone else said previously: if you are replacing a cuff with a metal adapter, most likely the adapter on this cuff will not fit your bulb, BUT just pull off the metal adapter from your old cuff and pull off the plastic one from this cuff and exchange and you’ll be good to go. I had to replace my 22 year old cuff from med school, but my bulb was fine. This totally worked.

A perfectly fine replacement for my 20-year old Tycos adult cuff EXCEPT the adapter wouldn't fit my Tycos sphygmomanometer. I had studied all the pictures and diagrams — but to no avail. Fortunately I had not tossed the trash with my previous cuff and working adapter. I replaced the new with the old and it works fine.

My blood pressure cuff came with a defect. It has a hole through which leaks air to be inflated. But I'm in Brazil.

The cuff that it replaced was 54 years old and, though it still worked, I was afraid it would burst at any time.The new cuff makes the instrument essentially a new one.

Looks like the one I bought in 1994, with the exception that the connector is now plastic instead of sturdy metal. This item replaced the one that I lost. Hope it holds up.
