It is doing the job. I have only been testing it for about a month. I hope it holds up in the long run. I struggle with saddle fit with my Percheron. When worked constantly she drops weight fast. But when life gets busy she gets FAT. So the saddles (with and without trees) would always roll sideways. I finally went treeless with this pad and so far its working.

I love this pad I've been using them 2006 I'm fixing to be ording my 4th one soon my old one has seen its better days.

I received a shoddy imitation of a Weaver product. I don't see how the pad I received could be the same one that has positive reviews. Mine has bunched up material on one side of the cutback, loose layers, & cheap imitation leather fabric with a raw edge running along about a foot of each side. I am returning it immediately for a refund! I feel so strongly about the low quality of this, I may unpackage it again before I ship it back, just so I can include some photos. Way overpriced for what I actually received! Obviously, there is some discrepancy between reviews, so I have to think there are some that are being shipped that are better than this one. This one is going back!

First of all this is NOT a leather accented tacky pad like the product title says it is; it's naugahyde....AND where the naugahyde is, the pad is cut out and bound. The naugahyde bottom edges are not bound with stitching or binding to prevent tearing or curl. Out of the box the naugahyde is curling and I haven't even put it on my horse yet. =o( We all know naugahyde does NOT breathe well against a horses' coat. I'm a little disappointed in the quality, but the tacky part of the pad itself seems thick and of fairly good quality. Would not buy again or recommend.

I love this pad! This is my second one and I highly recommend it. Keeps the saddle in place, sweat doesn't build up as much as some other pads, and it's really easy to clean.

I love this saddle pad. It's contoured just enough, well padded, and completely washable just by hosing off. The pads inside can be removed by opening the velcro closures at the top, so that the pad can be cleaned thoroughly, or they could even be left out when not as much padding is needed. It's pvc, which means it's also non-slip, and cooler than wool pads. Took a while to get it, but it was worth the wait!
