Bought to hobble a steer that jumps fences. The velcro didn't hold past 24 hours. Great idea that didn't work for us. Bought a new one that had buckles and has not jumped the fence since.

My issue with these hobbles is How the heck am I supposed to use thread the strap through the metal piece and then velcro it on a kicking cow without getting a broken hand in the process? Bad design, unless your cow lets you put on. Bad cow in my case, apparently. But, that's why I needed hobbles! So, I can't use them.

Center strap was a little long for our Dexter, but makes milking much easier. Tied two knots in to shorten for her.

the center strap slips through the buckets and gets twisted. Not a good product.

Works as described. had a balky cow, made milking possible. A week of use and she relaxed and we no longer had to hobble her.
