I got this a while ago and didn’t think much of its poor quality. The handle was very floppy. The inside port material would kind of start to poke out the side of where it connected to the actual whip part. I lost it and bought a different one from Mustang - waaaay better quality. Thicker sturdier handle, little slide to tighten the loop on your horn/wrist. Make this one look like trash.

I wish I would have listened to the other reviews when they said it didn't hold up very well. I have only used it once for a barrel race and the plastic part on the inside has already worked its way out of the middle of the whip. I have had other Weaver Leather products that have been really good, this one, not so much.

Flimsy material and poor construction. The plastic tube was sticking out within 30 minutes of carrying it on a ride.

Not liking the look of the white plastic piece popping out of the black nylon cover on the ends. You would think they would use a black plastic at least;) Also there are cheap looking, ugly, places where the nylon was melted to secure things down? I understand securing is important, however. Interesting the two balled/knot ends are not secured, allowing the white plastic rod to pop out! I am afraid this will just fall apart. Also, would like it to have better life in it. Better feel.

This is the right size. I don't have to carry around something too long or use split reins. When I don't need it, I can keep it on my wrist or hang it on the horn. I love it !
