WHAT WE DO
Wazakura Japan has been delivering since 2019 Japanese bonsai tools worldwide.
We were born not only wanting to make quality tools accessible worldwide, but aiming to keep Japanese crafts alive as well. That is why all of our tools are designed & manufactured in local Japanese workshops.
We want you to enjoy a little taste of Japan at home with tools 100% Made in Japan by skilled local artisans.

We believe in doing business successfully but also responsibly. A business should not only be accountable for its financial results, but also for what it provides to the community. Doing good is as important as doing well.
Wazakura Japan integrates the skills of Japanese artisans and blacksmiths with our design and marketing experience. This way we make these traditional crafts more accessible to the present day consumer.
But, most importantly, we contribute to keep these unique and traditional crafts working methods alive in modern times, helping the communities that dedicate their livelihood to them.
WHO WE WORK WITH
In Wazakura Japan we aspire to provide a better connection to Japanese artisans for a more meaningful buying. Our tools and accessories are only manufactured in Japan with all the quality and durability that the country has been known for always in mind.
For this vision to be a reality and ensure that our strict production standards are respected, we scouted around Japan for responsible skilled craftsmen that shared our same vision. And we did find them all around the country, in the cities of Sanjo (Niigata Prefecture) and Tokoname (Aichi Prefecture).
Instead of mass produce simple products, these artisans and blacksmiths use the same techniques passed down by generations. As a result, their tools are carefully designed and improved over-the-centuries with every single detail taken into account.
So you can have in your hands incredible and unique pieces that are much more than just tools.

The price paid, with free shipping seems very fair to me. I have always been an agreement to the 80/20 RuleYou get 80% of the quality for 20% of the price and the remaining 20% of the quality for 80% of the priceThese tools are more than 20% of the price I can purchase the top rated till brand for, but also better than 80% of the qualityConsidering I am still using tools I bought 20 years ago, and expect the same from these, I will let you know.

I was hoping for the name of the manufacurer to be Japanese quality. After a half year of use I can conclude - total waste of investment. Just flattens the edge of the wire, not cutting through.

Arrived free shipping next day without Prime. Finish is not fancy on the black steel tool, cuts bonsai wire much more easily than electrical contractor Knipex cutters let alone Mastercraft. Bought bonsai wire cutters at the suggestion of Peter Chen of Heron Nurseries who said they are indispensable.

Nice wire cutters. Made in Japan. They work really well for my bonsai, I really like the shape of the handles. These cutters are definitely much more versatile than my diagonal cutters I was using
