Good quality, well labelled, good packaging. Little bit more expensive than other models. Worked fine using a Raspberry Pi Pico, at 3.3V using Adafruit_ST7789 libraries.

Die Bilddarstellung ist sehr exakt (beim Fotografieren hatte ich noch die Schutzfolie drauf, ohne sieht es noch besser aus, ich habe das Display schon einmal gekauft). Das mitgelieferte Anschlusskabel verringert den Kabelsalat am Breadboard.Mit etwas Sucherei findet man auch Code, um das Display mit dem Raspberry Pi Pico unter MicroPython anzusteuern. Ich habe aber noch keine Informationen gefunden bezüglich "fortgeschrittener" API-Funktionen (wie zum Beispiel beim 0,96 Zoll OLED Display I2C SSD1306 Chip 128 x 64 Pixel I2C - das kann das Bild im Hintergrund aufbauen). Ist aber für mein "Projekt" nicht so wichtig.Wenn man viel Informationen unterbringen will oder die Anzeige mit grafischen Effekten verzieren will, ist man hier mit diesem Display sehr gut bedient.

I'm a mechanical engineer who likes to pretend I'm an electrical engineer on Tuesdays twice a month. I've been using these LCDs with an Adafruit QT PY for various heads-up displays, most recently to tie in all the engine data on an old VW so I can see how she's running at a glance. This display was easy to integrate between Adafruit and Waveshare's online resources. Hardware-wise it seems well built and the connector for the SPI signals are robust enough. In one case, I removed the connector and replaced with a header so I could connect directly to another board. In a different case, I sourced a longer connector/cable and used it for a "remotely" mounted situation (although I don't know if 12" counts as "remote" haha. Altogether, this is a great piece of kit for your electronics projects!

While the price was cheap so was the performance.Maybe I got a dud but when I finally got it to work the display was dim and difficult to view from any angle except straight on.The documentation on the manufacturer's website was not very helpful and while I was eventually able to load the Arduino libraries they provided the example sketch they provided would not compile.I was able to load and run the Adafruit STxxx library but some of the commands in the Adafruit example would not run on this screen; for example, the change text size command didn't have any effect.Spend the extra money and get an Adafruit LCD.

The screens were advertised as 2” diagonal which turned out not to be the case. Bought these for the BPNVG build but I’ll have to resist in the housing to fit

the quality of these lcd's are nice however I cannot get them to function at all with the example code downloaded from their website. I wouldn't suggest purchasing these for projects.

Negative: It arrived without any documentation, manual, links to examples, nothing.Positive: Adafruit library worked right away and the screen works great. Cable is included, so wiring is very simple.
