The rv bathroom is definitely cooler in the summer. As far as pulling down one half to let light in, that didn't work out well. The velcro tape came off with the pull down flap. But I had put in two push on battery lights ( cheap & work well), so I don't have a lighting issue. All in all I recommend this cover. I would buy it again. Also fast shipping.

The shade is made from quality materials. It fits well, and does an excellent job of providing shade (and less heat) in our camper’s bathroom.

I've only had this installed for a few weeks but I love it. The sun was always coming into our RV bathroom through the skylight. I was afraid it was going to discolor the shower walls and always made the bathroom so hot. This is perfect and I can remove it whenever I want or need to. Great product.

A cheap solution to sunlight and heat. Used this on a trip out west and it dramatically cut down on heat. Keep the morning sun from coming in and was very easy to install. Good, quality product.
