Some reviewers said this latch would not fit there 5 year old plows without having to grind or file it down.This latch, (Warn part number 81273) is identical in every way to the original latch on my 13 year old Warn Pro-vantage plow base. (part number 92100). I was able to install it without having to do any modifications.

Legitimate warn part. Exactly what I ordered. As I was unable to find this part for my older model warn plow I ordered this based on others comments and reviews that it doesn't quite fit the older units and requires some modification.Seller promptly shipped part, and maybe because I'm in Ontario? It arrived in 2 days, even tho the estimated delivery date was 2 weeks.Will not hesitate to deal with this seller again!!!

They beefed it up so the locking tab won’t bend/break as easily. Unfortunately it doesn’t fit the slots. I had to file it down to fit.Check the model and year of you plow before ordering to make sure it fits. Also, the curve of the handle is a problem, does not have as much of a curve so you hit the back of the blade when repositioning it.

The part worked out well. The only problem for it to fit properly it had to be grinded down in some areas.After that it was great and fit well.

it's stronger then the original one BUT it doesn't fit in the slot, I will have to grind it down otherwise I would give it a 5 star.

After a few strokes with a file it fit like a glove. I don't think it will break again.

I have a 5 year old pro vantage plow on my atv the latch handle was a different design and did not fit
