Great looking, sized right. After it got a bit damp (just from my arms during 1st use) the wood is now rough, I took it out of my tub and haven’t used it again.

I ordered the Walnut Live Edge Bathtub Tray to give some warmth to our newly remodeled master bath. I have seen live edge dining tables, coffee tables, etc., as well as, this ad picture where the live edge is smooth. On one side of the tray, the bark of the tree measures approximately two inches in some areas. This bark almost looks burnt, but cannot say for sure. The bark edge crumbles a little as it is moved on the tub so I am having to constantly wipe the tub to keep it clean. If I turn the tray to the opposite side, there is still some bark showing but just a narrow edge. This causes the bark to drop directly into the tub. I felt the ad picture was just what I wanted. I knew there would be differences because of the tree being used. I paid an additional amount because I needed the tray to be 40". I would return but no telling what I would have to pay to return. I am sure some are beautiful, but the one sent to me is a disappointment. I should have tried to find someone locally.

This piece was absolutely perfect. I cut it down and made a window seal out of it. I ordered it to the length I needed and fabricated it to fit the window seal.

Love, love, love my new bath tub tray. It’s even more beautiful than I expected. Had it for awhile now and it’s still looks amazing.
