I share a very small bathroom with my husband in our small (by TX, USA standards) house and sometimes he needs the sink while I need the (tiny medicine cabinet) mirror, so I installed this little guy near the door - now I can step out of the way of the sink but still have a mirror to finish my makeup. The metal parts on this are the cheap zinc style that can break easily, but I don't intend to exert much force on this so I doubt it will be an issue. I used the included glue to mount the mirror instead of the screws, so it will be interesting to see how that holds up once it's set.

Pros:- The magnification is good; it'll serve the purpose I need it for (doing my eyebrows and makeup.- Swift shipping.Cons:- It came dirty with fingerprints all over it; I thought it was going to be new, but I'm sure someone had this before me. Still, even though there are fingerprints galore on the glass, the nickel is smooth and undamaged, so that's good, at least.- The nickel is dark; I thought it was going to be more silver, but it's a darker brushed nickel, almost gray. It's not a big deal, I guess, but if you're particular about this kind of thing, this could be an issue.- The instructions I received were for a completely different product; they're for a shower soap caddy. I suppose the premise is the same, but it'd be nice to have instructions for the actual product.- I'm skeptical about the glue holding by itself, so I'm going to need to think about how I want to mount it. There are screws that came with it, but I need to see if there's a stud where I need to place it. If not, I'm going to have to figure out how to mount it with something else to reinforce the glue; I wouldn't want the glass to break and hurt my dogs.Edit: I came back and added another star. I wound up using the glue that came with the mirror and the tape is holding it up. It hasn't slipped, and it looks good and is functional for what I need it for. I just wish it hadn't come dirty and was in stainless steel instead, but overall, I think it's going to work out!

I utilized one of these magnifying mirrors shaving at a hotel. It really helped get those whiskers that the razor likes to miss. Found this one participating in Vine program.I am very happy. The mirror is 2-sided with standard and magnifying options. The metal is nicely finished in modern dark grey. It comes were several mounting options, and I went with using a single screw into my diy farmhouses shelving. I don't notice the wobble that another reviewer had. It is very sturdy and moves fluidly. If this is the quality, it is very good buy at its current price.

Dual sided mirror that is easy to install and does a great job of giving more visual detail when grooming. Standard mirror view on one side, while the other side magnifies for a closer look. The swivel arm is durable, not flimsy or too easily moved, which is perfect! Nice and quiet in movement, and easily folds against the wall when not in use for simple storage.

Really love the sleek look of this. It seems a little loose where it swivels on the wall bracket. You can supposedly tighten it with a hex wrench, but it didn't help mine much. Otherwise, all the hardware works, and the adhesive seems to work well. It is also helpful that it comes with strips to hold the mirror into place while the glue sets! They are easy to remove once you need to. Moves back into place easily. You can also lock the mirror itself into preferred position.

When fully extended, the center of this mirror is only about 9" away from the mounting bracket. Be sure you have a mounting spot that is far enough out to be able to use it. I had to put it on the side of a wall mounted cabinet to even be able to see my face. It comes with 2 screws and 2 drywall mollies, plus nice looking screw head covers, but I couldn't use the screws or covers because the screws were too long and would have gone all the way thru and stuck out inside the cabinet. The magnifying side of the 6" diameter mirror is good. I can see my whole face in it if I need to apply makeup. The unit has a dark finish, so it might look out of place if you have light colored cabinets in your bathroom or vanity area. All in all, it functions well for my needs.

As I get older, focusing on the distant bathroom mirror for fine detail gets harder. Looking in our badly placed medicine cabinet mirror isn't convenient. So a shaving mirror makes sense when I trim my beard. This one is so small and light that I was easily able to attach this to the wall with nano tape instead of the enclosed screws or fixative. I like the way it adjusts and the materials. But in retrospect an extra inch of width would have made life easier for me.
