My condo’s bathroom has a pretty horrible looking strip of grout along the bottom of the vanity, and I am sick of looking at it every day. This trim covers it perfectly, it is almost exactly the same width of the split section. I have never seen floor trim like this where the bottom and the upper sections are the same size, so I was afraid it would look out of place. Especially being white plastic, but I am so happy with how it has turned out. It covers the ugly, protects the gap between the bottom of the vanity and the floor, and gives it a tidy look to it that will be easy to clean. The only thing I had issues with was cutting the corners where two sections meet perpendicularly. It took a while, but I was able to cut them at 45 degree angles and they look clean. It would have been nice to have a pattern or at least a photo showing how to cut the pieces.

I thought i could use this to put a border on a puzzle i glued together. It didn't still to the edges when I folded it over. I would have cut it differently if I knew it wasn't gonna stick the way I wanted.

I put this on the lower edge of my countertop. I like that it is almost clear. It's not really noticeable until someone is actually looking at it. I've cracked my head too often, not to have this edge protected. This trim works great. It also works as a bumper for carts, kiddos and a myriad of other impacts. As with anything long, and adhesive; the protection film is a bit hard to get off. Once started, it's easy.

There are many uses for this strip guard. My window does not close completely due to the metal warping over time. Thus, cold air enters into the room. I used this strip guard to protect and maintain warmth for the internal temperature. This strip guard does the works so well that it saves me on my heating bills. It’s a temporary fix and it looks good. I also use this for hall way wall corners to protect the wear and tear over time. The material is heavy duty, not the flimsy or thin. It has a thick, durable feel and is easy to apply. The sticky side back provides strong and reliable adhesion. I like the clear strip guard bc it blends well with the wall color.

The trim looks as pictured, like shiny rubber. I found it very difficult to cut in a straight, clean line until my brother suggested using pruning shears. Those work pretty well. A craft knife works okay for straight lines, but with the rubber's flex, it's hard to get a clean, non-shaggy line. It was very difficult to cut the vertical portion at a 45 for a corner. All this is expected. Working with rubber tends to be difficult, and this is fairly heavy-duty rubber trim. I expect it to hold up for a long time, if the adhesion works. (And if it doesn't, I will just nail the stuff down). It does look much better than the wall-meets-peel-and-stick that was there before. More importantly, it should keep dirt and water from getting between the two surfaces.I'm taking off a star because I did not find the adhesive very good. I prepped the surface with water, soap, and a magic eraser, then toweled it off and left it to dry for another twenty minutes. I did apply this in very humid weather, at about 50F. The trim popped off the wall (which admittedly isn't quite straight) a couple times before I went over it very thoroughly with a heat gun. Even after that, I was able to peel back a corner more easily than I would like.

We have a concrete step into our bonus room (coverted garage) that is hard to see and has a very unforgiving edge. The step landing and floor have a similar finish and it's easy to trip. Having taken a tumble off the step a time or two myself, we needed an unobtrusive but obvious variation from the step to help ourselves and guests to avoid falling. This is perfect for our needs. We had a painted concrete floor that we added laminate flooring to, including the step, and needed an edge that differentiated without it being a trip hazard in itself. This is easy to install, and contrasts nicely with the gray with black grain flooring. It is thin enough to not create a trip hazard for our older guests (or anyone who tends to not pick up their feet!) It is flexible and easy to cut with a utility knife and installed along the face and top of the step quickly. The adhesive is strong, and worked well, though we added extra at the sides to keep it firmly in place. We used a weighted board on the few spots that needed to be held in place due to uneven pockets on the surface. Very happy with this choice -- it's much more affordable than a stair bullnose or other wood or metal trim, it's much more flexible and pliable for uneven edges and surfaces, and looks great now that it's down. Bonus: no labor costs: I'm not super handy, and this is a task I can do myself. All a huge plus!

I recently finished a kitchen island project where I encased the back side of the cabinetry with vertical slat panels. The finish looked great overall except for the corners where the wooden slats joined. I was going to use wood filler and sand to make a perfect finish, but when I saw this stick on corner trim it was the easiest solution for a quick finish as well as giving it some protection in case of future bumping with shoes, vacuums, and others. The trim arrived with a couple packets of primers to prep the adhesion surface, but I decided to make it more permanent. I prepped the surface with some alcohol, adhered the trims, then tacked on some brad nails so the trim stays in place. I was able to fill the nail holes easily with black wood putty I had on hand.As for cutting the trim, I've used these flexible types of trim many times and it's almost impossible to get a clean cut using scissors or carpenter's knife because the flexible material moves as you cut. Because this trim can lay flat unlike quarter trims, I actually used my guillotine style paper cutter to make perfectly clean 90 degree cuts.Overall, the application was super easy and I would recommend buying this for your next project for quick and easy finishes.
