I love this bed! it's sturdy and a good value for money. I've seen similar beds at twice the price. I hired someone from Thumbthack to assemble it and it took them less than an hour to do it. I guess if you have lots of furniture building experience, you can do it on your own. Otherwise, you'll need two people to carry and build it. Our queen sized mattress slid and fit perfectly. If you're looking for a sturdy, classy canopy bed, add this to your cart!

Design 10/10:This black, canopy bed is great for someone looking for a sleek, modern bed design. It’s sleek, modern design commands the room; however, it doesn’t overpower the room.Assembly 7/10Assembled with one person. Took about 2-3 hours due to a few restarts. Boards are not labeled with stickers, which I love. Always struggle removing them. Labeling boards with arrows near the numbers would be GREAT. This would ensure all boards are facing the correct way the first time. Up arrows and down arrows. Few misaligned drill holes and ill sized dowels. One extra of each hardware would be great.Quality 9/10:So far so sturdy! lol. FRAME HEAVY DUTY. GREAT QUALITY Slats quality questionable…Few scratches and discoloration$ Value: 9/10:It’s a little pricey without the discount; however, it’s worth the discounted price!Overall: 8.8Overall ALMOST PERFECT! I would purchase again. Glad I made the purchase.

I LOVE my bed. There are a few marks on the wood but overall great product and not really noticeable from afar. Assembly took two people, especially the headboard part but it was fairly easy to put together with instructions. This bed makes such a bold statement in my room that it looks totally decorated with just a bed! I debated between this one and the metal bed and glad I went with the wood. Love it!

Love this bed frame! It’s super sturdy and solid! My husband and brother in law put it together and claimed some of the pegs were loose, but overall was easy to put together! Live the natural pine color!

It looks and feels nice. It makes zero noise. I added felt to all the feet to reduce lateral stress on the legs. I had a habit of being gentle getting in and out. Today the very first time I accidentally kipped up out of bed, a slat completely split in two. It's solid wood but should have been layered wood, since layered is much stronger for this purpose. I still cannot believe a 3/4" slab of wood can split in half with minimal force applied. I knew from day one I needed a rail support on that side, so 2 rails instead of only 1 in the center, but no one makes a queen bed with 2 support rails because everything must be cheap.It's far too much work to repackage and rebuild and there are various ways to add strength and support. I will probably replace the bunkie boards with layer board, which will be stronger and actually support a foam mattress correctly. Another issue with the foreign furniture industry is that EVERY bed frame slat set is just out of spec for memory foam mattresses, which require 3" spacing between slats.I may also fabricate two more rails just like the center rail. Then I figure it has to hold up.

Bingo! Just what I needed! Everything worked out perfectly! We have a lift bed and I just needed the main frame to go around our lift frame to create a cabana look. Very sturdy, easy to put together and beautiful! I’ll be making another one soon, but in a different way! I can’t wait to see what that will look like!

This was the most cost friendly solid wood canopy bed in King size I could find, Amazon had the best price compare to Walmart and Wayfair, the delivery was quick and the product is awesome.It’s very heavy so once bringing into the foyer, we opened the box and carried upstairs piece by piece. Assembly instruction is very clear, the hardwares were very good quality with sturdiness, execution of assembly, little challenging for the headboard and the rest was easy. Def 2 persons job. Once it’s all assembled though, simple clean earthy natural wood bed, we really love it.The only few downsides:1. the height was lower than expected, but turned out great for our room due to low pendent light2. the headboard is a bit flexible so one person sits against the headboard and move, the person next to can sense the headboard bending.Given the other solid wood canopy bed frame prices, I can def live with these.3. it is quite wobbly actually when another person moves. We use firm foam mattress so unless the bed frame moves, we won’t feel another person moving while in sleep. I’ll take one star off for this
