I was excited to use this bartender's friend because my old one was getting a little long in the tooth.It arrived in a small but nice box, perfect for gift-giving, just add some wrapping paper, and you're good to go. I love that it feels good in the hand, it was a little heavier than my old one, but that's because it's using far better materials! The handle is solid, and the metal they are using will stand up to the test of time.I didn't like the blade at the end, too small for my liking and was considerably shorter than my last, so when you open a bottle that has a wrapper it doesn't feel as sturdy. Also, it didn't have a traditional bottle opener, and if you're doing a party almost you will certainly need to open a bottle of beer, small gripes I guess but something to call out.The corkscrew is great, it's not too narrow or thick and has an extra twist vs my old one so it will get down deep to extract any cork (natural or artificial)- works great!
