All the parts worked easily with the stock rotor.Buttoned the bike back up after install, filled with oil, and started immediately!Can’t speak to longevity, since I just finished today, but seems good so far.

The roller bearing is something I think might fail. But the over all part seems ok for alternative oem replacement. I would suggest replacing the springs and pins when you go to replace this part. If you are having starter issues why not do the work right.Only complaint is the gasket was damaged. It was folded like a paper air plane. I would expect a company to have the gasket in a larger box to prevent damage. But I am no stranger to gasket making so this is no real deal. Just makes my repair longer.

Good quality at good price, exact replacement for Yamaha VStar 1100 2005, but poor packaging, gasket arrive in multiple part that make it totally useless, I contact seller and he offer me to refunds gasket money, and I bought it in local motorcycle dealer, that the reason of the 4 star the shipping price is expensive and not reflected in packaging quality, if you want to buy this package I suggest to order the gasket from local dealer, with this you will be ready when the part will arrived

wanted to make sure I made a review. I thought on this purchase quite a while because of the many simi negative reports. As it turns out this is a great product and super great price. Materiel and machine work is great, bearings look as good or better than the original. If you have patience and know what you are doing the components go together perfectly as they should. If you are having a hard time fitting parts back up and try again because you are doing something wrong. This product at 90 dollars is better for my 2001 bike verses the $750.00 Yamaha wants. Riden 80 miles after install and all is well - very happy and glad i went this route
