Overall, these are decent shinguards (light weight, sturdy Velcro). However, I would recommend them only for kids due to the sizing. I’m 5’8”, and in my 40 years of playing soccer I’ve never had a pair of size large shinguards that have been so short. I know some people like short shinguards, so these may work well in that case. Nevertheless, I would not call these an adult large.

I ordered a size large for my 11 year old and they kind of fit ok. Everything goes on easily and stays on but the ankle part is a little looser than others that he has. That being said it still stays in place just fine so it should be ok. I ordered these for my son since he’s a soccer fanatic. We are just getting into the soccer sport (we have been a football, baseball, powerlifting household ) for years. So when my son wanted to do soccer I was like ummm ok.. So starting looking around for the equipment. Of course Amazon is my go to for everything. I came across these, The colors were very vivid and a very cool design, so I ordered them.They arrived super quick, which is always a plus when you have an anxious 9 year old waiting for a package. They arrived and we took them out the box and they look just as the pictures describe but better in my opinion.Not knowing much on the sport they seem to fit him perfectly, (if i’m doing them right). My son says they feel comfortable and he’s been wearing them around the house for few hours a day, “ practicing soccer”. He hasn’t complained about them once hurting him, but the true test will be once he actually starts playing the game with other people.So far so good, I don’t have any complaints with this product. They seem like good quality shin guards, but like I said, I’m new to the sport.I am part of the vine program and received this product in return for my honest and fair opinion.
