This chrome look stainless steel braided leader hose is a direct replacement for any compressor with a 3/8" NPT female port. The hose measures 20" long and includes a swivel 3/8" NPT in-line check valve to allow the air to flow in only one direction. Inside the braided metal protection is a strong heavy duty rubber hose. The perfect replacement solution for worn out hoses.

Worked great on air compressor retrofit/rebuild project for about 10 months then check valve failed. Hose seems good quality and swivels are good but check valve clearly not.

Didn't end up using it for air horns, but I have used it for a harbor freight air hose reel that was poorly slash cheaply designed. I use this as the starter hose to the rotating adapter that requires a hose to flex and bend to start the reel. At first I planned to just trash the back flow valve connected to it but I'm glad I kept it on as with over a hundred feet of hose once I disconnect the air compressor to drain the tank I no longer have to worry about the massive burst of air that used to come back at me. I did have to place some brass fittings to make this hose work but I'm glad I note have a hose reel that doesn't almost leak out as fast as my compressor can provide the needed air to keep the psi so I can use my ka donka dunk tools.

I use this to go from my 60 gallon air compressor pump to the after cooler I built for it. the air is sometimes 300 degrees. this hose is awesome!

use this to connect overhead hose reel to the air piping setup I have in garage . Super clean , check valve works really good. I have used the rubber version (another brand) and had a leak after hooking up.
