I watched the fideo first to get a head stat. Then put the two pieces in with minimal complication. They sit in place very nicely and I'm very pleased. Very recommended.

So far, everything is great. Easy installation, good fit, no sagging, look nice, match the car interior, it came with few spare plastic connectors, and, the most important thing, it does the job. The car it is cooler in the sun, the sun does not bake you if in open space.

Tried the original Tesla ones first and got mad trying to install it with the clips permanently falling off and landing somewhere in the car and the shade never getting securely installed. Tried the magshades next but cannot recommend these either- the magnets are a pain to install even bigger pain to remove without damaging the interior trim. The magnets are so large that they risk dismantling the interior trim. The shades only just about secured. The vion brand shade comes with plenty clips that in contrast to the original tesla shades can be securely clipped onto the shades and do not come off by themselves. The shades are easily installed or removed and hold securely.

I got this to block out the sun because this summer has been brutal and cabin overheat protection never stopped! This unit was recommended to me by a Tesla employee and it is great! WAY cheaper than the Tesla branded shade (which has been out of stock for months). Installation was fast and easy! It looks like it belongs in the car and it is hard to believe that it isn’t made by Tesla since it matches so well! It definitely helps keep it cooler and I definitely don’t get as hot without the sun beating on me.

L’été arrivant la Tesla se transformait en véritable four. La pose de cet article est très facile et est constitué de deux pièces. Lors de la pose en plein soleil, on se rend compte immédiatement de l’efficacité des que la première pièce est posée. Le rendu est parfait. Le produit épouse bien les bords du plafond et les crochets, une fois qu’on a compris la manière de les insérer, se posent facilement. Le dispositif est facile à mettre et est facile à enlever. Par contre pour le replier ça sera une autre histoire ! Je recommande

Overall I really like this shade. Color matches the interior well, it was easy to install, and it's nice and light.My only criticism is that the shades were a bit too long (front to back of the car), so there was some buckling/overlap in the middle where the two sections meet. that also made it a little hard to install the large rounded clips in the middle. the dimensions width-wise were perfect though.

Absolutely fantastic! The color perfectly matches my Model Y, and it has significantly reduced the uncomfortable heat overhead. The installation process was a breeze, and I'd love to offer a few pointers based on my experience.keep in mind that the gap between the glass and the roof liner can vary due to Tesla's manufacturing. Using the provided clips, you can easily identify the sweet spots for insertion into the liner. I used the clips to determine where to insert them into the roof liner. For the front piece, the clips fit easily around the rear part but are a bit snug in the middle. The rear shade's clips can be inserted almost anywhere. So, you can use the clips to locate the best spots and then attach them to the shade. This saved me time. I appreciate the thoughtful details on the VION roof sunshade, like the labels indicating front and rear, as well as the side that should face up. It's a well-thought-out design.Here's a helpful tip: You don't need to use all the clips provided. I found one clip on each side to be quite stable. Using too many clips might create small gaps due to added thickness. If you notice any gaps, just adjust the clip's placement, and the gaps disappear.Overall, the quality, fit, and price are outstanding. I enthusiastically recommend it to all Model Y owners.

I tried three similar products; this Vion, Vondior (updated) and Haloblk.Vion and Haloblk looked exactly the same, but Haloblk didn't fit as well and left some gaps. Maybe mine was dud, most other reviews for it are great.Holding both Vion and Haloblk up to the sun, they blocked the same amount of sun light, and more than Vondior. Both are a little darker than Vondior to match the interior, which is why I think they blocked a little more light.The big difference to me between Vion and Haloblk was the fit.Haloblk fit - 7/10. Small gaps on two sides and a larger gap in the middle where the two pieces meet.Vion fit - 9/10. Very small gap around the sides. So small that it wont bother me. No gap where the two meet. No clips where the two meet in the middle, but that hasn't been an issue as they have so far stayed togetherVondior fit - 10/10. No noticeable gaps anywhere. Also came with clips for the middle where the two pieces meet, but so far, Vion not having these hasn't mattered.In summary, I will be keeping this one (Vion). The slight nock on the fit, which is hardly noticeable, is worth it for the extra sun light blockage (maybe keeping car a little cooler), and the excellent color match.
