The replacement sponge doesn’t work with my existing handle (probably 10-15 years old). The description of the product was incomplete (it only included measurement of the length and not the bracket length which would have alerted me to the fact that it wouldn’t fit my handle. When I attempted to return it, Amazon tells me it can’t be returned. What a waste! I would never have ordered it if I knew that. I feel like I was scammed!

Absorbent, gentle on floor finishes, good for general cleanup using a dish detergent such as Dawn. Does not shed fragments of sponge in normal use. Rinses out well, does not smell.Not good for heavy scrubbing, however.

Fits my 14” wide Roll-O-Matic perfectly. I can’t believe how bad the old one was until I saw this brand new one. I waited way too long to replace it. Works great!

I have an old 12" Roll-O-Matic mop for which I have been unable to find exact replacement heads for. I purchased the 14" and 10" versions to see what could possibly work. This particular item is from a bulk package, there was no identifying markings on it or the package on it except for the Amazon sticker. Based on the other two Vileda Roll-O-Matic replacement heads I bought, I'll assume it's made in USA like the others.The prongs on my 12" mop all fit the 3 different replacement heads. Thank goodness for design consistency, regardless of length or material (stainless steel or galvanized steel) they all fit onto the mop head. Of course, the 14" was too long (12" rollers won't squeeze the whole head) and 10" was too short making complete moping parallel to walls or cabinets impossible. I ended up cutting 1" off either side of the 14" head so that the whole thing would wring out. I was able to do this with tin snips for the metal and scissors for the foam. Not the prettiest job, but it works.

The fit of the mop head on the mop is different - when you wring it out, the mop head gets a crease down the middle. I do wonder how long this head will last. Previous ones have lasted for years.I sure do love my original Roll-O-Matic mop, though. Way better designed than the plastic-handled behemoths available at Home Depot and whatnot.

I genuinely bought a mop and these mop heads for my husband for Christmas. He likes to mop the GARAGE! With my mop! He loves it. He reports that it is very sturdy and sucks up all the water from the floor and holds onto the dirt. It wrings easily as well. The best news is that he likes it way better than the mop I use in the house. Hmmm. Maybe I need to get these for MY mop.

While this mop is stronger and the pull lever works easily, the mop head is very flimsy and it doesn't absorb well, and every worse when you wring it out there is still a lot of water left in the sponge. If it doesn't mop up water well, then what good is it?
