Makes a good cup of regular coffee, and perfect, of course, for egg coffee.

I ordered the LARGE. Sadly it's TOO large compared to other brands version of LARGE. It didn't fit my already large cup so I'm returning it.Also the press is not a good fit, too much coffee grind just flows between the press and dripper and you don't get a good squeeze on the grinds, it all just end up floating and on top of the press.

Pros: Easy to clean. Easy to use, the design is simple, quality is good, brewing time is okay, the product is good just think I had user error due to never using this type before.Cons: burning yourself with water, if the metal disk has water on it at all it will create a suction that wont allow water to pass through and will flood your counter, the holes are big so a lot of grounds pass through, and it took longer to get to the finished product than I wanted to wait.

I love this thing, like convert a town to worshipping fishmen kind of love. No other product ever wants you to use a 1/3 cup of coffee grinds for a single serving besides this thing, and I think that might be a shame.Did you ever hear people describe coffee as harsh and bitter and just a punch in the face and never tasted anything like that besides a literal spoonful of acid? Yeah, me too, weird. Anyway, it's strong, and I usually make it stronger. The flavors of all of those beans gets sucked out over 8-12 minutes, dependent of strength, and you taste EVERYTHING. Forget cupping if you want to learn the qualities of your coffee make it in one of these."It's, too, strong!" You say, a weenie. Alright, give it an additive. Coconut flavored coconut creamer? Wrong. You're ruining it, and I'm serious. The Vietnamese will use sweetened condensed milk and I do not lie to you when I say that to myself and my former barista, Washingtonian lover have tried many other ways to cut the flavor and nothing actually goes with these puddles of bean juice besides that sweetened condensed milk. If it must be creamed, try it, if your lactose intolerance won't let you then stay away from the product. This may sound negative, I know, but once you figure out that this thing is not a life giver left as a blessing to the children of some long lost precursors but instead the immutable means of our destruction by titanic reapers you will learn to look that death in the eyes and smile. As someone who consumes near poisonous levels of caffeine on a regular basis let me tell you that no single method feels as fast and deadly as a single cup of whatever this deliciously destructive ichor is.My girlfriend fears it, her family won't even utter its name, but like a college kid who found a leather clad woman to step on him I keep coming back!
somehow it all gets done....

All these ads came up in my FB feed for Vietnamese Coffee...which I have never heard of. Turns out it’s really a “thing”! I was curious and read up, bought this nifty gadget, watched the videos’ got out the sweetened condensed milk, bought Cafe Du Monde and Luziane (which you can get from Wegman’s btw...). It’s really good-very strong but not bitter. Lots of fun if you love coffee! It works great and I love it!

This is very simple to clean, very simple to use. There Are four pieces but nothing tiny that can get detached or lost. I ordered the large one and it sits well on my cup. I will say that, like many other reviewers have said, there are some slight issues. 1- the design is a bit lacking. There are two little rubber knobs to grab, but when you’ve poured hot water in, the whole thing heats up. I mean, obviously, it’s metal. It’s not the best design. And, the worst part, 2- the holes that filter, which there are three layers of, are too large for regular ground coffee. Yes, I absolutely read that in reviews. Unfortunately, with this pandemic I had slim pickings at the grocery store. I couldn’t grind any whole beans because that portion of the aisle is taped off. And I JUST got rid of my coffee bean grinder a year ago so I can’t repurchase. So I hoped for the best. It didn’t quite work out the way I’d hoped. So, what I did was order a metal reusable coffee filter and I’ll take out the insert and set my filter basket in. Hopefully that takes care of that.

it's a pretty simple thing, its an easy and compact way to make coffee. The coffee it makes is strong and bitter, that can be a plus or minus depending on your taste. It's also convenient for travel or camping as you don't need filters or anything, and it's super easy to clean up when you're done. Don't forget to stock up on sweetened condensed milk!
