Could never get the oven past 500 degrees as soon as the door was opened to put in the pizza the temperature dropped in half. The chimney was closed to keep the heat in. It just wouldn’t get hot enough to cook pizza.

Heats to around 450 degrees and definitely does the job. Grandkids love making their own creations and watching them cook through the glass window. Recommend 5 minutes max to avoid a burnt crust. A good pizza oven paddle and blade style cutter are recommended. Amazon sells them as a bundle for under $20.
