I made it work , the spring is adjustable, just expected a -6 female, and its a -6 orb (oring )I was able to use a copper crush washer on my setup and its its holding fine

It's useless. The female side is NOT a flare. It's machined poorly with recessed groves where the smooth female flare should be. Frustrating and worthless!! Wasted my money.

The valve is decent in build quality. The anodized coating appears to be sufficient. But there are other products that will have the same function for a lower price point.The 6AN female fitting does not appear to have the standard AN/JIC flare and the manufacturer's web site states the valve "Requires o-ring or crush washer on female side".I am planning to use it in a fuel injected vehicle where the fuel pump's internal check valve failed. I'll post an update once I install the valve.---Update #2 [7/4/2020]: I was able to use this check valve on my application after installing an -6 O-ring ORB adapter (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B078Z4CV2J/) on the check valve's female side. It appears to work fine. It holds pressure and performs as intended. I wish the description of this item made it clear that an ORB style connector is needed for this connection.---Update #1: Removing two (2) stars. It leaks like a sieve under 45 PSI fuel pressure!I used several different nitrile o-rings on the female side of this check valve and could not get it to seal. This might work for a carburetor application but not for a fuel injected one.At the price point of this item, I expect a fully configured item - that will seamlessly accept a standard -6AN male connection. But it appears that the manufacturer does not provide this functionality without the purchase of another part (crush washer or O-ring).I bought this "Name Brand" part with that in mind. I would have been better off buying the $16 generic part and then buying the needed sealing interface separately.

Product was used for a classic muscle car restoration project. It easily met my criteria for quality.
