Well made out of heavy steel. Durable orange finish. I use it to pull heavy logs with my electric winch to where I can cut and load for firewood. Works well and an excellent value.

I got this for Father’s Day, and my dad actually loved it. He said it was easier to lift the logs because it saved him energy and he didn’t have to bend as much which is great when you live at 10,000+ft elevation and you have a bad back. It was also helpful for the sheer quantity of logs we had to move. We didn’t have any issues with the nuts coming loose. The majority of our logs were 11 inches and up on at least one side. It does grip the log well. You can tell if the claw has it before you lift it too. Once lifted, it didnt fall out of the claw. You could get two, one for each hand, but with the big and heavy logs, my dad was using this tool with 2 hands to lift, though it does only require 1 hand to open and operate.

Works as advertised. I can grab a log and take it to the pile or mill with ease without getting off the tractor.With some practice you can unhook the log without getting off the tractor. Very sharp points that grab with little effort. Worth the money for the time and ease if offers.

This thing is awesome. I have been using it to drag 18' long logs around my property with my tractor and the tongs have held up quite well. I am definitely exceeding the maximum capacity, but I'm not lifting them overhead, just pulling up one end slightly and dragging the logs in low gear. I would buy this again for sure.

Pince de débardage très solide ,fonctionne parfaitement, permet de déplacer des troncs de plus de 40 cm de diamètre,je m en sert sur une micro pelle pour déplacer des troncs d’un mètre de long de gros diamètre et une fois agrippés aucuns ne glissent .
