so im not big on chinese made stuff but for lack of better options and the need to melt large amounts of metals i purchased this for a reasonable price , came with a crappy pair of gloves that must fit a small boy but other then that the items fit together and seemed fine UNTIL the first firing and the only thing i found was the LID no longer fit snuggly warped out of roundness not a big issue as the heat stays pretty good so far, iv even been able to bring temps hot enough to melt brass and copper have not tried steel as it comes in various flavors some require high melting temps 2800 dont think i can get this to produce that much at any rate simple to put together wish it came with a stand but you will have to create what you prefer as it would just sit flat on what ever surface you choose NOT WOOD i hope

Everything looks good, but when I first use it, I feel the sound of the trachea leakage, and it maysuffer damage.

This smelting/furnace/forge gets to heat quickly and is excellent for knife making. I originally ordered it for melting brass, copper, etc… however it has now replaced my original forge.

The furnace certainly cranks out some heat, and the capacity is nice, compared to the much smaller furnace I’m used to.Ignition (especially reignition) can be fiddly, but I found success by holding the jet valves closed to let pressure build up on the dial, then opening them one at a time.Build quality is disappointing, however. The lid has warped severely after only a few uses so it doesn’t seal, and flames shoot down the sides of the furnace, probably causing further problems in future. This is the reason for the 3 star rating.

Le brûleur, la pince les manomètres c’est parfait.La notice n’est pas en adéquate avec le produit que j’ai reçu, les gants c’est juste une plaisanterie, la fonderie est bourré de laine de céramique aléatoirement et se décompose trop facilement, la pierre réfractaire ronde à fendu à la première coulé. Le creuset est arrivé abîmé. Je ne sais pas si je dois conseiller ou pas ce produit, je pense que pour essayer c’est pas mal, mais pour la fonderie régulière c’est à éviter. Par manque d’informations dans la notice j’ai même subit une explosion de gaz à l’allumage… attention !

Very fast delivery.A few hiccups. But got everything working just fine. I'm not sure if it was supposed to come with assembly instructions, but mine did not. It is pretty easy to assemble though, for the most part. I had to remove a plastic washer from the end of the regulator to fit the propane tank. Not sure if it was supposed to come off, but no bubbles, no leak. I also added a hose clamp to each end of the hose. Did a soap test and fired it up. Works great!
