This is a replacement for the one I had for more than 2 years of everyday use. The previous exact same one was quite durable. It was a gift. However, It is a little pricey for such a small pouch.

I always use this neck ID holder as a slim wallet. I snip off the lanyard and it's perfect for being a thin wallet and having a secure zipper pocket in addition to the two other pockets for cash or credit cards. I hate bulky wallets and need one to readily display my military ID, so this is always perfect. Plus, Rainbow always has the best stitching and quality that I have found anywhere, so I prefer always going with them (no, I don't work or get paid by them, lol). I liked it a bit better when it was a horizontal version (due to the zipper pocket being longer), but I understand that as a "neck ID" CAC's are vertical, so no biggie, I guess!

Used daily for post access. They could've made the lanyard longer as my previous Rainbow ID holders, but otherwise a good product. The other pockets are used for additional IDs, a credit card, ration card and emergency cash.

This is actually the second one I've purchased. The first one I had for several years, but in time the clear window gets tired- generally scratched up and in my case was stained by ink from the ID placed in the holder. This should be considered normal wear-and-tear and not a defect.In addition to carrying my work ID, I also use one of these for traveling. I can stow my wallet in my carry-on bag and use the ID Holder to keep my drivers license and a credit card handy for checking in for flights and going through the TSA checkpoints. Of course there are other pockets and such available, so a couple of business cards and one or two folded bills are also easy to keep close at hand.Overall, one of the better designs out there, and well-made here in the US of A. Win-win-win.

One of the things I hate about other badge carriers is that they're bulky and oversized. This ID holder is minimalized to be just a little larger than a standard ID card, but still has plenty of extra storage space. The fact that its lanyard has TWO attachment points helps keep it from flopping around. If it only came in black....
