Transparent and ultra Clear Glycerin soap base

Melt and Pour Soap Base refers to a soap base that has already undergone the soap-making process so that the user can simply melt it, pour it, customize it and allow it to cool before using the resulting bars. Discover the properties, benefits and all artistic possibilities of various Velona’s Glycerin bases!

Directions:

MELT: Determine amount of melt and pour soap base needed for your project. Carefully slice soap base into small pieces and place in microwave safe container. Heat on low at 30 second intervals. Stir between intervals until liquid. Handle hot soap carefully as it may burn the skin. Soap can also be melted in a double boiler.

MOLD: Stir in cosmetic color, cosmetic scent, and skin safe additives. Pour into a preferred mold. Spritz soap surface with rubbing alcohol to remove bubbles. Allow to cool until hard.

ENJOY: Remove from mold and wrap with airtight plastic wrap. Your newly created melt and pour soap is now ready to use!

CAUTION: Melted soap is hot! For ages 15 and older

Ingredients:

Water, Glycerine, Propyleneglycol, Stearic Acid, Sorbitol, Sodium Hydroxide, Lauric Acid, Coconut Oil, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Citric Acid, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Sodium Chloride, EDTA.

Allergens:

Glycerine Soap Base - Clear, does not contain any of the eight major allergens, which are soy, eggs, peanut, milk, wheat, tree nuts, fish, and crustacean fish.

It's not drying. My kids and I didn't takes. I'm fact, it helped my youngest with a rash that she got from a different soap. I need this soap base back.

Okay so I’ve bought the 5lb bar and it was clear and perfect. But my shop is growing so I needed to start buying the 25lb bar to keep up with demand and it’s yellow! I bought two and had hoped maybe I got a bad batch the first time but no, yellow. I hoped cutting it would mean maybe it’ll be clearer in smaller portions but it’s not and I even added a bit of blue dye to see if it would turn green and it in fact turned green, so this is completely useless for my soaps that require a decent clearness to is.

As a professional soaper, I struggled to find a melt and pour to play with. This product is the answer! It's truly ultra clear once melted. It cuts like butter. Melts easily and quickly both stovetop and microwave.. It has a very mild neutral scent and holds fragrance like a champ. It lathers great. It's very moisturizing. And it doesn't sweat. This is now my go to for melt and pour designs.

The only issue I had was that the bag was wedged in some of the soap but since you cut the soap anyway it worked out.Renders a great amount for the price.
