Satisfied with this item after custom manufacturing adapters to it make fit my mower. Subtracting a star due to lack of including mounting hardware. No problem about quality of product. Appears to roll great and should last for some time from initial testing.First off, this does have 4 inches of travel, 2 forward and 2 back. 4 inches does not seem like much, but for my mower it feels about right. It was hard enough to find one with a shorter distance between the studs, but this model listed the shortest distance between the mounting studs (19cm or 7.5 inches), which was a bit longer than my mower slots. I have an older Montgomery Wards Signature 2000 Elite Riding Mower which is made by MDT that needed a new seat in which I ordered a larger replacement after-market Yellow universal mount seat from a seller which also sells same seat here on Amazon.com. My photos show, because that Yellow seat is new and not cheap, I purchased a cheap seat cover to make it last longer, especially with cats that would lay on my seat and claw up the Yellow vinyl covered foam padding.I have a bad knee after a defective knee replacement that has the implant rotated slightly being constantly inflamed and in pain and therefore have trouble mounting and dismounting my mower with my bad left knee, so first had to make some handlebars that rise over the steering wheel get my leg over the center hump. After mounting the new seat I realize still having trouble getting my leg over the mower even using the Handlebars without moving the seat back first to get on, ergo, the need for this Seat Slider Track. My MDT mounting plate has four single 3/8" holes and four 3/8" slots. Turns out the 7.5" studs fit in the front 2 holes and at the back of my back 2 slots, which worked out well on my mower. For the top of the slides, I had to machine some 2" x 1/8" flat steel with slots to fit some outer bolt holes in my seat and 4 other holes for bolting to the Slides. Bottom line is after that top adapter, and a bottom stud spacing adapter, in case the slides needed adjusted past the back end of my mounting plate, this seat now fits well, and slides back enough for me to get my leg over the mower, after which I can move the seat forward to sit well while mowing. To get off the mower, I slide the seat back providing enough room to get my leg across the mower.True the seat tracks do not come with any mounting hardware. I had to use a thread checker to determine the studs are M8 x 1.25 threads, so had to purchase some metric M8 x 1.25 nuts with close fitting fender washers to cover my slots. On the top I was simply using 5/16" bolts and nuts to attach to my adapter plates. That meant the head of those bolts were above my adapter plates, with jam nuts just under my adapter plates, with flat washers on both sides the top of the seat tracks with lock washers and nuts on inside top of the tracks, which do not interfere with track travel. Because the head of those 5/16 bolts were above my adapter plates, to keep the adapters parallel to the seat, I also had to use sets of 3 flat washers as spacers above my seat mounting slots in those adapter plates, which was the same thickness as the 5/16" bolt heads above those tracks. The slots in my adapter plates allow me to adjust how close the track handle fits to the seat. The original slots in my Seat Mounting Plate, or extending past that plate adjusts the forward and back range of the seat track movement, but fortunately the aforementioned position worked well, without needing to move it back more past end of mounting plate.Took me a good part of a month with my bad knee to do all the work necessary to make my mower handicap capable for me to be able to mount and dismount it. While it hurt a lot and took way too many hours with my handicap to machine and weld hardware for this modification, it will now save me pain when I have to use the mower. For me, with limited track options available, and many of this model has a longer stud spread, this was still the perfect option for me even if lacking hardware and not much leeway with mounting options, fact that I was able to make it work and now it is exactly what I needed, for me it was worth it. That does not mean it would not have hurt to include mounting hardware, and have other mounting patterns for mounting to the seats, but knowing in advance what you are dealing with, you may still be able to make this work such as I did, but not everyone has a milling machine for drilling and milling slots for an adapter plate.I included photos showing seat in back most position and in front most position so others can see the range of 4 inches is quite a bit of travel on this mower. I believe the models with the longer stud spacing has more travel as a result of that stud spacing. But these are only 4 inches which is more than enough for my mower.Respectfully Submitted.

Not very good at all, they only slide a couple inches out, hardly any adjustment. They don't even come with mounting hardware, just the bolts that are attached to the slides. Don't recommend.
