I purchased two sets of these gears to use in both my front and rear differential with the intent of increasing my final drive ratio. Stock gears are 3.75, and the FDR is 42. These gears are 4.125, and increased the FDR to 46.2. I didn't think it would make too much of a difference, but I was very wrong. It crawls like it's got a Holmes Hobbies 20T crawlmaster motor in it now. The increase in performance is night and day. Absolutely worth it. But if you are putting these in an RTR you have to buy the 6 hole spools, since the stock ring gear and spool are actually one piece.
