I’ve been struggling to find variety packs of reeds as a new player and have loved this small sample pack.The reeds are great quality and have performed excellently. With a lot of choices in the pack you can do many different things and play in different styles.Overall I found the Java Red to be the easiest and best sounding as a beginner. Close 2nd was Java Green.Try them all out! You’ll definitely learn your preference.

I like this multi-pack because I can try the different styles and find out what I like. I ended up really liking the red and the green packs. Buying this multi-pack helped me decide what works best for me and my instrument.

If you don't know what reed will work with your mouthpiece, this is the way to go. I was able to figure out that the ideal reed for my mouthpiece (basic Yamaha 4C soprano) is the V16. Before this, I was endlessly searching reddit/forums for suggestions. It allows you to save your money for a full pack of reeds.

Tried 2 reeds already and they were pretty decent. I like the sample packs because it's cheaper than buying a box and you can see which style is right for you.

A little pricey for four reeds but being new at playing the soprano , having a choice to pick from is really helpful in deciding which strength I should use.
