Usual top quality reeds but the packaging is plastic-heavy. V12s are always versatile.

Recomiendo utilizar una lija o un ReedGeek para ajustarlas al gusto. Llevo varios packs que tienen unas 2 o 3 cañas que requieren ajuste desde el inicio. Fuera de eso, con los cuidados adecuados pueden duran varios meses.

I play classical and jazz tunes and need a flexible reed. I'm using the V12 model reeds on clarinet and both soprano and alto sax, 3.5 to 4.0 reed strength.

These reeds have a thicker heel than the traditional blue box reeds. The cut provides slightly greater overall strength, and are a real asset for professional players who play a lot in the upper register and altissimo. As a 25-yr professional concert saxophonist, I give these my highest recommendation.

After using Vandoren blue box 3's I found these to be extremely stuffy and unusable. Reed comparison chart seemed to indicate 3's on blue box vs V12 are roughly equivalent. Will go back to the blue box.
