I am not happy at all with the soprano sax ligature. It does not fit at all and barely holds my reeds in place. I really don't like it. I have to tighten it all the way and it's still loose and doesn't stay on.

Slightly too big for my Selmer Concept and Legere reed. I will keep it for my other soprano mouthpieces. Looks cool.

Pris en cadeau pour mon mari et il est ravi. Il va parfaitement sur son soprano et fait du plus.bel effet avec sa couleur doré. Reste plus qu'à jouer des morceaux pour swinguer 👍

The clips are shaped to fit the reed, making for a much closer and gapless fit between reed and mouthpiece. Works great paired with the V16.

I thought I loved these at first. Bought TWO, one for alto and one for soprano. Both are the same, they will only tighten enough to hold the reed in place when you pull it on to the very end of the mouthpiece and then its not really tight. I didn't pick up on this until after 30 days so I can't ask for a refund. Just such a stupid design, I can't believe it!

I ordered this for my Yamaha 5cm soprano mouthpiece because Yamaha doesn't feel the need to package and sell their mouthpieces with ligatures or covers/caps. I had ordered a ligature which was suppose to be from Yamaha, but it wasn't. I know because I have one that came with my Yamaha sax. I had ask the question on Amazon if this Vandoren LC56AP M/O Ligature and Plastic Cap for Soprano Saxophone would fit my Yamaha mouthpiece. After reading the replies I ended up with a big maybe. I took the chance and ligature and cover fit perfectly. Now for the function and longevity testing. Lol

I like this ligature for alto, and I’m sure it works great for soprano too, but for some reason it doesn’t fit my Selmer S80 C* mouthpiece. It is too big and when fully tightened doesn’t fit my mouthpiece and reed and thus doesn’t keep them in place at all

Easy to use with just a single screw to tighten. Finish was good and cap fits well. Using on both van Doren S27 and other hard rubber mouthpieces. Proper reed resistence and vibration for the all-around sound I’m looking for.

This made my soprano even more easier to blow. The vibrations and feedback are stronger and the notes are sweeter with this ligature over a leather lig I was using.

J'avais inquietude la taille de cette ligature. Du coupm 12,7 x 5,7 x 5,7 cm est bien la taille de son emballage. La ligature est juste parfait pour un soprano.
