I used cheaper more readily available, clarinet reeds throughout high school and college. These Vandoren reeds give a noticeable clearer tone.

I have used Vandoren reeds for over 50 years of playing clarinet and saxophone. They are consistently excellent. The quality of the sound produced is first rate as is the standard of cane used. They play straight out of the packet with very occasional adjustment. I have tried other brands over the years but have always gone back to Vandoren. They may be a bit more expensive than some but they are value for money to me.
