Edit: I wanted to mention that I am an automation manufacturing engineer and have a lot of understanding & patience with machines & machine learning. I have built entire robotic assembly cells and processes...it's not a black & white world...trial and error pave the path. I really wanted to believe that this device would work at least half as well as it didn't 😒Original review; (The first and only time this machine actually functioned)I have a totally flat backyard with very fine, short grass. I tried to get this machine to mow just the tops of the blades of grass - not a heavy mowing job.I followed the instructions exactly. After cutting a strip about 4' long, the machine began beeping and stopped cutting. It never would run again after that first use.I tried recharging the battery multiple times. Regardless of what I did, all I can get is a warning tone and red flashing LED indicators. It doesn't move, it doesn't turn on the mowing blade - it just flashes red LED indicators and beeps occasionally. Regardless of the mode I attempt to set, nothing happens. Powering on/off, pressing the stop button...nothing can make this thing move or mow. It just beeps an alarm tone and blinks red LEDs. There is nothing obstructing any parts or bumper switches on the bottom of the mower. The camera lens is not obstructed. It does nothing. However, it did cut a 4' long strip of grass one time, so I gave it an extra star for effort. This product is not ready for market & I'm really embarrassed for the manufacturer for sending out a non-working product like this. It may have worked in the testing phase - but it doesn't work at all in real life situations nor as a consumer-ready product.I really wanted this machine to work! I was very patient, I tried, and tried, and tried and now I'm done. This device is fairly worthless - but it's a good concept. Better luck next time!

This is not all that great of a lawnmower, I'll be honest. It feels like a repurposed pool vacuum. It's light and doesn't really feel all that well built. The lack of weight means that it won't really have what is needed to cut anything taller than a few days growth and the size and battery life won't allow you to do much more than a tiny patch of grass. It's not "smart" other than having slight censors that are supposed to notify it when it's near something like a fence but unfortunately, other things must trigger it as it randomly turns off but also sometimes just runs into things like electrical boxes. It doesn't stay in straight lines as it doesn't seem to have any laser tracking either.

I LOVE the idea of a robot lawnmower, but they are crazy expensive. This one is pretty reasonable, so I gave it a try. Here are the things this little mower does well:- Where it does cut, the actual cut quality isnt bad.- Easy enough to start. Here are the things that are not great:- Battery life isnt long enough to do anything really useful.- The lack of a docking station is a huge downside.- It does not reliably cut all areas. The reality - this isnt worth buying. This was listed for $300 when I got it, I would recommend saving your money and purchasing a "real" robot mower instead. This mower is just not reliable enough to actually use on a regular basis.

This really is a great thing if you have the right situation for it. It comes well-packed and with everything you need to get rolling with it. This is where the good stops. The build quality is cheap. It has no weight to it, making it almost impossible to cut high grass. I’m not talking about grass you haven’t cut in a month—I’m referring to the 3-4-inch tall grass most of us keep to have a nice “carpet” of grass. Besides, anything taller than that, it refuses to cut anyway. The sensors seem to tell it to turn around. This “mower” appears to have been designed for Zoysia grass or other species like it. Its only intention is to cut golf course-style lawns. Once I got it up and running, which took a while because it just wouldn’t start, I let it run its course in my backyard. I keep my grass in the back shorter because my kids play there so much they’ve actually made trails. LOL, so it should not have had issues cutting. My backyard is about an acre so I put it in the middle to see what it could do. In open space, it only cut about a 60sqft space. It never left that space and spent most of its time doing 360s in place. They may want to take this back to the drawing board, as I think this is just an overpriced piece of plastic.
