The product is ok very good lines. the only think I didn't like it will not stay at measurement. loose, but you can't expect much. They are plastic. I have and older one I used for years and still tight.

It's adequate for home use. Do not use in shower or while sun bathing. Good value. Accurate enough. I can read. Performed well, went a little pitchy during 3rd chorus. It adjusts till it doesn't.

this is a durable, throw in the toolbox sort of caliper and useful for getting close. the vernier scale is not accurate, the lines don't line up right when compared to a better caliper. so the accuracy of the caliper is in the 1/16th of an inch range which is handy enough for a lot of things, and that's what you paid for.

I have other plastic calipers that work great, this one doesn’t stay put at all, needs more tension so you can read the measurement before it changes from sliding around.

It's a $7 vernier caliper made of plastic. What were you expecting? All things considered, it works quite well. There is a little bit of "daylight" peeking through the "flats", but it's much less than can be measured.
