I needed to replace a 50 year old rotary switch that just fell apart. These are very sturdy, but the solder terminals are fastened to a plastic support. I melted one by holding the soldering iron on for too long. The enclosed nuts and knobs are very nice.

Obviously good quality, contacts seem positive. Be aware they are somewhat stiff,

Luckily, I only needed three of these, one of them malfunctioned after about 2 days of use. I do believe it was a fluke as the others are working perfectly.

Normally, Uxcell products are inexpensive and good quality. Not this time. These have build quality problems. Some are too hard to turn. 1 was loose and un-useable.

These are high quality rotary switches with ceramic wafer parts instead of phenolic wafer parts. They are larger in diameter than I was expecting. I'd call them 'standard' size. I could have used a 'mini' size for my project. Not a problem.The detents are very stiff. I think because the switch is well made. The included knobs are attractive and have a small pointer in case you have panel markings that indicate switch position.
