The pilot bit will fit in the chuck independently, but not at the same time as the hole saw. It looks like the groove that holds the pilot bit in the chuck is smaller than the original, and won’t let the ball bearing of the chuck set deep enough into the groove to allow the hole saw to slide on and lock at the same time. In the picture, the dark bit is the reviews product, the shiny one is the original Diablo.

Had to drill through a stripped 8 mm oil pan plug to use an extractor to get the plug out. Kept the drill bit oiled and drilled through aluminum quickly.

These drills were crap. They were poorly ground and ran out of concentricity to the amount of about .060 thousandth. They are pretty to like at but that is all they were good for. They drilled a hole .020 too large. Didn't expect this issue until it was too. late. To set your mind at ease, I was a Machinist for 55 plus years.

I bought these to ream holes in 3D printed parts. For that purpose, these are sufficient. For anyone wanting to drill an accurate hole, I would look for a more precise option as there is considerable wobble at the drill tip in both pieces I received.
