This mic has been working pretty well. I did have to disassemble the wraparound piece and make it more expandable as it would not fit all the way around the back of my head and over both ears. It wobbles around a bit and doesn’t always stay in the same angle on my face. That does have an effect on the volume when it goes to the sound system.

This earhook mic was replacing a lapel mic. Not being a sound person (I am learning quickly) I was skeptical that it was worth replacing the still functional lapel. But... It only took a few sentences for me to hear the difference. The sound was leaps and bounds better than the lapel. Also, when the pastor bows her head to pray and moves around there is no noticible difference in sound quality or volume. Well worth the cost for the upgrade.Fitting was super easy. The ear piece bent to fit her smaller ear and the mic was easy to adjust to be close but not on the mouth.The only negative (very small) that I have is the clip that came with the mic wasn't as secure (tight) around the cord as I would have liked. We ended up changing it out for the tie clip that we use for the lapel. The clip that came with this mic won't go to waste. It will be used elsewhere.
