My old outboard wasn’t running right. A new fuel pump from mercury wasn’t available quickly (and cost hundreds of dollars. I thought I’d take a chance on this for about $30. Fit perfevfectly, and works like a charm. One fitting size was different than stock, and I had to cut my own gasket out of sone gasket paper, but it was an easy job.

Installed this pump in 15 minutes and motor runs great again. You need to ensure you plug the vacuum inlet on some models that do not use a vacuum line. Price was 1/10th the price of OEM unit.

Perfect fit and replacement for my 2004 Mercury 50hp 2 Stroke. Direct replacement with zero issues. Completely fixed my idle issues and primer bulb stays filled with fuel now. No issues at all and would highly reccomend.

I bought this pump on Feb 20, 2023 but could not install it until today, March 27, 2023; therefore, I cannot return it. It will only put out 1 PSI of fuel pressure, which is OK at idle speeds but will not produce enough fuel at any thing near full throttle. I certainly do not recommend this item.FOLLOW UP (3/30/2023):I just put another fuel pump, a Mercury OEM pump, on the motor and it runs great with this new pump.
