Exact fit. However I would recommend buying the tools for outer and inner seal easier installation.

My LG is old and I recently had to replace the cold water inlet valve. While I had the machine open, I took the time to clean the drain hoses, check and clean the filters, and remove and clean the rubber boot or gasket. While it was off, I realized there were many nooks and crannies that I couldn't clean to my satisfaction and when replacing the boot and spring, some of the rubber was less elastic and tore. I found this new replacement part at a fraction of the cost from the manufacturer. Just as tricky to remove and replace a second time, but now there are no tares and the uncleanable ick has been removed and replaced with a new, clean, flexible, good as new part. No leaks, fits perfectly.

The new gasket fit my LG machine perfectly and I was able to replace our old nasty gasket with a brand new one. It was much more challenging than it appeared to be to replace the gasket. Most parts were easy, getting the spring assembly that holds the gasket in place back on the machine proved to be very difficult, even with the special tool--and be careful which special tool you buy. Mine was not able to stretch the springs far enough to get the spring assembly back in place. But the gasket is 5 star.

Product came without any packaging in a box. Appears to be of high quality but there are some areas where the seal contacts the door that small indentations are present. One of these is right at the bottom of the door. While doing a small test load of laundry, this indentation allowed water to leak out the bottom of the door. There are probably 4 of these indentations around the circumference of the seal which did not leak due to their position on the door but I only had a small load of clothes in the washer for the test. I am afraid the seal might leak at those locations when washing a large load of items. There was not contact information or paperwork in the box in which the seal arrived so am just requesting a replacement in hopes the second one will not leak. Of course it did take over three hours to replace it and am not looking forward to repeating that process.

You will need some spring clamps to hold this in position and you can add a drain line on some models that is zip tied off at the factory.
