This clay towel is a winner, especially if you own a black, dark red, or dark blue vehicle. Dark paint shows it all—dust, dirt, pollen, water spots, tar, and bug splatter. Running a clay towel over the surface helps eliminate these problems.Using a clay bar isn’t difficult, but it is time-consuming. But this is a critical step in making your vehicle look showroom shiny. Using this clay towel is much faster and easier than using a clay bar, and my hands did not hurt after I finished. (Clay bars must be kneaded like bread dough to make it pliable. Plus, clay bars aren’t washable—if you drop one on the ground, it can pick up gravel and dirt and become useless.) Rinse this clay towel with water and use it again.Use this clay towel along with a clay lube before you apply your wax and you will notice a big step up in the appearance of your car.

The fine grade clay bar texture is incredibly effective without being too abrasive, making it perfect for maintaining the finish of my car. It's much more convenient, and the towel can be used multiple times, which is a huge bonus. Easy to use.

I own and have used various clay bars, clay mitts and clay bar embedded towels like product from other name brands with differing results. In the case of this clay bar towel, it did not really do anything on my vehicle. I could notice any change on the surface when I used clay lubricant and this impregnated towel. The towel is thinner than a costco microfiber towel even with the clay impregnated side. They clay portion feels more like rubber and doesnt glide as smoothly as other clay products I have used.At this time, I would not recommend this product for removing impurities on your vehicles paint. For the quality and price, I think you can just go for normal clay bars or spend more for a reputable clay mitt.

I was impressed at how well this cleaned the car. I used regular car detergent rather than purchasing an expensive clay lubricant. This really wiped away tree sap, bugs and other grime that usually takes some scrubbing. And, it left the car with an incredible shine -- sans wax. I didn't think this would provide such a dramatic difference in car-washing but it literally glide over the car and removed grime without an effort. I can't wait to try this during the upcoming "love bug" season.

This clay towel feels like a quality clay towel with plenty of mesh "clay" and a nice micro-fiber backing. I used it on my 2022 GMC Canyon and it certainly left the paint glassy smooth with no perceptible grit or grime left over after washing the truck and then using a good soap as a lubricant for the clay towel before rinsing and drying. The size of this towel is very manageable and covers a good amount of area quickly.I have used clay bars before and can not tell the difference in results between using this clay towel and a clay bar. It certainly beats clay bars in that if you drop the towel on the ground you don't have to throw it away like you would a clay bar. Wash the clay towel and then rinse it, and you're good to go. It's also much, much faster using this towel than using a clay bar.Recommended

This was my first time using a synthetic clay towel after using clay bars for many years. This towel helped remove some surface level contaminants, but did not seem to grab as much small particles of dirt as a clay bar. It was a fast process using 1/4 of the clay side of the towel per panel and then flipping to the microfiber side to aid in rinsing. I used a 1:2 mixture of carwash soap to water as surface lubricant rinsing the towel after each panel was complete and I turned to a new side of the towel.Overall a simple and quick alternative to a clay bar, but not as aggressive at removing contaminants. I will likely only use this periodically during maintenance washes and use my clay bars before paint correction.

Great alternative to the clay bar. As long as you follow the directions and use a good lubricant, this is absolutely the easier, less messy way to go. It is strong enough to not fall apart while using it too. It was said before, but you get more done of the car in less time with this clay bar towel. So this is a win for me because we have 5 cars in the house. It was easy to use and comes with a container to keep it from getting dirty.

I have used both this type of product and the traditional clay bars. These clay towels are so much easier and quicker to use for a novice detailer like myself. After using these I have no intention of going back to a clay bar. This works just as well as other clay towels I have used but at a lower price point. No complaints here, would purchase again and recommend.
