Seems fine except I can't screw the pieces in. One side won't screw in far and other piece has no threads!!

The best thing about this tool is that the holding bolts can be removed and replaced with whatever suits your application. This worked out for me very well on a 1997 RAV4 camshaft sprocket. I would not have been happy with one of the tools out there that have the holding bolts welded on.

As soon as i opened this up and tried to screw the pegs in they cross threaded. Tried both pegs on either side, they all bind up. This was just very poorly tapped.

Was trying to remove the crankshaft pulley from my car. I was pushing with all my force, and I heard (and felt) a nice, loud bang. Unfortunately, it was not the bolt coming loose, it was just the tool breaking apart. The threads on one bolt are bent beyond repair, and the other bolt is stuck in the socket.

Perfect item for the one task I needed it for. First time doing a timing belt. This did the job and was able to complete the removal and install.

I couldnt figure out how to fit the tool onto the Subaru Outback DOHC cam pulleys. I threaded 2, 3" long bolts through the two ends of the tool and used it to hold the crankshaft dampener..it worked great. There are 4 holes in the front of the dampener pulley.
