The part has a double pin end which doesn't work with my single pin connector.

Didn’t use it cause it didn’t specify it was for a r12 system. Would’ve been nice to know since I was converting to 134a. Maybe you could make it work but a better description would’ve been nice.3 stars cause I’m sure you can modify it to work or use it on a “liquid gold” r12 freon system.

It wasn't the exact part but fortunately my A/C guy made some minor adjustments and we were able to use it, so all in all a good result thank you,
