Even though when reading before purchasing this item I notes a few ppl complained about their pieces shipped broken I still took a chance and ended up learning the hard way. My piece came cracked in two different locations on the same piece which is now spreading. So I’ll have to purchase glue or something to bind it so it won’t break. I didn’t want to go through the hassle of the return which is why I kept it. Cute it is but to many of the exact same complain for me to advise anyone to purchase this not to mention I honestly think it’s a little over priced.

Very happy with the quality of this desk and chair set. The shipping package was well thought out, protecting it from any damage in transit. The instruction drawings were very clear and easy to understand.I took my time with assembling it, not fully tightening the screws until all the parts were together. I did this to ensure the chair and desk would sit fully on the floor and not rock. Once it is all tightened, it is a very solid piece of furniture. Again, very happy with this purchase.

I bought two of these for our homeschool area. Great size for a pre-k + kinder aged kiddo. Pros: they’re adjustable + easy to build, they’re a simple design that will go with a lot, kids love them. Cons: not as sturdy as I’d expected, some of the drilled holes didn’t line up properly, the feet don’t have anything on them..just wood. So I bought something to cover the feet of the desks and chairs so they won’t scratch my wood floor.

Sturdy and great size for 8 year old and love that you can adjust the height as he gets bigger. Good size desk top.

I love everything about this desk! We bought it for a grandchild who just turned 5. I looked online for what seemed like forever to find a desk that looked good, would be sturdy and safe and was not outrageously priced. This desk was the clear winner, so I took a chance and ordered it. Now I feel like a genius shopper. Putting it together was very easy, even for an older pair of grandparents. All the pieces were there, holes were perfectly pre-drilled, screws are sturdy, the light bamboo wood is lovely and dense as opposed to soft pine. There were no written instructions and this is the one area that could stand improvement. The pictures are clear and accurate, and that is how we assembled the pieces. I wondered aloud what the 3 lower holes in the desk were for, but my husband said we were assembling the desk as shown. After completion we realized the 3 lower holes were for small children- like our grandchild. That meant we had to take out a total of 12 screws and rescrew them to lower the desk. No big deal, but just so you know. The screws were of such quality that it was easy to do and that is great, because as our grandchild grows his parents will be able to easily adjust the desk and chair to suit. I cannot recommend this combo enough- especially since I did not even have to pay for shipping (and this thing is heavy.)
