I use these as a wader belt. My last one lasted 10 years of being submerged in water, tossed around, sun baked and left roasting in the back of my car. I'm usually out 2-3 times a week in the sumner. I put some serious abuse on it and the coupler finally gave out after about 10 years. Thats pretty good I'd say. I carry a big knife, a multi tool, hook removers and whatever else I need on it. It supports the weight of all my tools just fine. Works great for me.

My duty belt for work was stolen when someone stole my work bag. This came fast and works perfectly. I like the thinner belts and this is exactly what I wanted.

To carry a heavy pistol and at least two full magazines requires a sturdy belt. This belt is heavy duty and very stiff, so it won't sag or fold over. It also has a button in the center of the buckle that must be pushed along with squeezing the catches on the top and bottom of the "male" end of the belt. This means releasing the buckle is a two handed job. That may not be convenient for you, but if someone is trying to take the belt from you he'll need both hands to do it. I love this belt and will buy another one.

I need a good belt to support my sidearm and ammunition. I had another belt that kept coming loose. This belt lives up to its description. It's a good buy. It is sturdy and it stays locked. Nothing fancy, but does the job.

This is my second Uncle Mike's belt. I work as a State Corrections Officer. My first belt lasted almost 5 years. I was a nice belt. The plastic connector is what broke. The new belts do not seem as nice as the older ones. My older on has cloth stitched on the top and bottom of the belt to keep the edges rounded. This has been left off the new belt so the top and bottom are squared and a little rough
