This cable will never securely fit the controller as the backing needed on each connection end comes right off as soon as you open the bag. You are better off finding a different item.

nearly through a fit because my xbox elite 1 paddles quit working due to this piece. ordered it and replaced it and they started working again with no problems.

I gently placed this into my Xbox Elite controller and the gold connector stripped, rendering this useless and putting me out of $11. Not happy, look elsewhere.
