Please Note: It is very important to find a proper blanket to fit your horse. Tight fitting blanket will rub shoulders and withers, causing irritation and "bald" spots. A blanket that is too loose will turn and shift, catch on latches and gates.
How to measure your horse for a proper fitting:
1. Obtain a soft measuring tape.
2. Measure from the center of the chest along the side of the barrel and belly (A) to the point just before the tail (B). The measurement thus obtained will be the blanket size for your horse.
3. If your horse is between sizes, step up to the next blanket size.

My blanket came on time and is well made in general but much thinner than the Tough 1 300g fiberfill ones that I bought historically. I just bought 2 new tough 1’s and they are much thicker!

Very nice warm well made blanket. My only complaint is that I wish the neck part was removable. The vet was also impressed with the quality of this blanket.

We purchase this blanket for a 25 yr old horse that struggles with Minnesota winter. It is much heavier than expected and high quality. He absolutely loves it, it keeps him nice and warm when the temps dropped below 0°. It is easy to put on. Seems are well sewn and it is water proof. We turn him out in pasture. I am thrilled with how it stays in place well, he can lie down and roll without dislodging. Fabric is heavy duty. Definitely will be ordering a few more! Great value!

So far this turnout sheet has survived. Can’t tell you how many he’s ripped beyond repair from supposedly high-end tough ripstop to lower end. Let’s see if it makes it thru 2 seasons. Good bright colors to spot them afar even if covered in mud or from others in a herd.

I was a tad bit nervous buying this blanket without any reviews so I thought I'd be the first!!! Blanket is a beautiful red/gray, shipping took about 4 business days to get here and is as high a quality as anything I have used/seen over the year is it's category ie: WINTER TURNOUT WATERPROOF. I live just below the Mason/Dixon line in N VA and it can get pretty cold here Jan/Feb and my mare is almost 30 so she does not insulate herself as well as when she was younger - this blanket will do the job ...for sure!! True to size if measured properly. Middle of the chest to the farthest point of the rear I measured about 73-74 inches and ordered a 75 and it fits well. I will revisit upon use as we dive further into the winter season, but for now I am very please with the product and customer service ;-) Thanks!!!

sizes are a litter smaller, I usually buy 75 inch weather betta's, but could have used a 78 in this brand...
