I like using the clear coils. And this method of binding is much safer to use with students than the older, hard plastic binding materials that I used to use. No sharp edges.

These are great quality. I’ve used these for a lot of bindings for the kids school books. So they’ve been through some stuff. Nothing has broken and still look brand new.

I really like these there is enough room for a lot of pages and they work well and are easy to bend and break off the ends using the binding pliers. There are 4 holes per 1 inch is what the 4:1 means.
