Tropiclean brand is a staple in pet products. I use Tropiclean shampoos - standard and waterless - for my cats, regularly.This one is flea and tick shampoo, no rinse, waterless.Some essential oils are toxic for cats so despite this shampoo being a name brand I was a little nervous about using it. Like any medicated product it should not be ingested. That's difficult to ensure with cats because their instinct is to lick their fur to clean it.The cat seemed put off by the scent so she didn't try to lick her fur.As opposed to other Tropiclean waterless shampoos, this one is heavily scented, most likely due to the ingredients designed to kill fleas and ticks. The foam is thicker (photo) but it is applied in the same way - gently rubbed into the cat's coat and left to air dry.The cat's coat was a tad greasy after application but dried just fine. She wasn't thrilled about the experience but she dealt with it.This shampoo is designed for flea and tick treatment not general use or preventative care. For the later one of the other Teopiclean shampoos will be sufficient.

Super easy to use and administer. It smells nice which is a huge plus! It’s seeming to keep the bugs off our outdoor/indoor cat but it’s not going to replace a pill form of topical, but for us living in a high tick area, this is a good thing to have for extra protection.
