Clocking around 55mph with this gear. Performance seems far better than the 11 or the 17 tooth.

These are great. I installed on my Velineon swapped Stampede 4x4. Went from 11 tooth to 14, its a wheelie machine! Make sure the gear mesh is set properly so you dont tear up your spur gear. Check utube for videos using the "paper trick" to set gear mesh. Not too tight and def not too loose. Traxx has more info on setting gear mesh as well. Really easy to install and set up, some folks just toss it together without properly engaging the pinion gear to the spur gear. Easy, nothin to it.

I needed a new gear for my slash 4x4 since I run metal everything and this one is super quiet! It doesn’t sound like it’s grinding metal on metal and has done very well for me!

Purchased to replace a 15T 3945 Traxxas pinion that had too much runout causing mesh noise on my TRX4 Sport. This pinion is machined and hardened, has no visible runout, and runs super smooth with no more mesh noise. I should have saved myself some grief and bought this one from the start.
